     What is Hate Crime?

Hate crimes are any crimes that are targeted at
a person because of hostility or prejudice towards that persons:

        - disability
        - race or ethnicity
        - religion or belief
        - sexual orientation
        - transgender identity

     Why is it important
     to celebrate NHCAW?

Celebrating National Hate Crime Awareness Week is
essential to address the issue, support victims, and
promote a more inclusive and tolerant society.

By acknowledging hate crimes, we can work toward preventing them.
