Student Voice COURSE REPS Elections Student Officers 23/24
Course Representatives are student volunteers who procure feedback from their peers and propagate this at departmental meetings. This process is referred to as ‘Student Voice’ and is all about gathering honest, balanced, and up – to - date student feedback in order to improve teaching, learning and assessment.
Each academic year Course Representatives (also known as course reps or student reps) are elected to represent their fellow students. Course Reps play a central imperative role in helping Bradford College to provide the best learning opportunities for its students!

Then we want to hear from you! Course Reps should also be passionate about making positive improvements to the learning experience for everyone.
You can either speak to your tutor about becoming a course rep, or, you can email; StudentVoice@bradfordcollege.ac.uk for more info.
This a voluntary role and the great news is that you do not need any experience as all training will be provided in – house and look great on your CV.
The Course Rep Process
• Course tutors will hold course rep elections at the start of the new academic year
• The successful course reps (as voted in by students) will be asked to complete course rep training
• Course reps will spend a couple of hours a week in their role as course rep
• Course reps will attend departmental meetings once every term/semester
• Bradford College Students’ Union will provide training opportunities and support for course reps during throughout the academic year
