Dance Helpers
About organisation / project
Flamingo Chicks CIC is an inclusive community giving children with disabilities and illnesses such as cancer the opportunity to enjoy ballet and explore movement alongside their friends, regardless of their ability. We also provide a vital peer support network for parents and carers.
Flamingo Chicks is so much more than just a ballet school; we are a growing movement of people who believe in the power of the arts to break down barriers, reach people who are isolated and in need of help, and change the way that society treats disabled children.

Here are our Yorkshire classes where we’re looking for volunteers to assist the children to participate (Dance helpers):
- Chellow Heights South (Bradford) Teacher Sam. Wednesdays, 1pm
- Chellow Heights West (Bradford) Teacher Sam. Fridays 1.15pm
- Calderdale Council (West Yorkshire) Teacher Sam. Halifax - Wednesday, 4pm (every other week)
