Thanks to everyone whom attended and participated in our first student parliament meeting of the academic year on Thursday 5 November 2015. Over 30 students attended which was great considering many gave up free time to come along.

It was an engaging meeting with updates from Muzz, President and Mazn, Vice President; a ‘question and answer’ session with the senior college leadership team and the launch of our new website. Three new student trustees were recruited and there was also free pizza for everyone who attended at the end of the meeting.

A diverse range of issues were discussed; ranging from noise in open learning zones to the College’s strategy on ‘Prevent’. Students clearly do want to have their voices heard and are willing to help play their role in doing their bit to improve things in the College.
