This campaign is about helping put a stop to street and sexual harassment of students and young people in Bradford.

Come along from 11am on Thursday 30th November and take part in some of the actions:

11.15am City campus:

  • Students have been making banners and placards for a demonstration near the David Hockney Building, where Performing Arts students are also going to be taking part in a Bollywood flash-mob.

THEN: 12pm University of Bradford campus:

  • Rally and speeches in the Student Central building (Longside Lane) at the University of Bradford.

Why should you take part?

“Anybody can be harassed”, said College student Yasmin Ali, “and we can stop that behaviour by standing up to it. We wouldn’t like it if it happened to us or our family, we can put a stop to it and help a total stranger too. Nobody should be harassed!”

“Together we can put a stop to harassment”, said Students’ Union President Was Siddique. “If people get harassed in the streets, if we don’t challenge this, then that person will be harassing someone else again.”
